'Avatar 2' Crosses 10000 Crore In 16 Days; India Total Close To 400 Crore Gross —

James Cameron's Avatar 2 is unstoppable at the worldwide box office. The film enjoyed a terrific weekend on the new year's holidays, and the numbers are fantastic. The film showed a slight increase in its third weekend in North America, which is a very rare thing for a Hollywood movie.

Avatar: The Way of Water registered a huge weekend of $63.4 million in North America. That's the fourth-biggest 3rd weekend total for any Hollywood movie till date. The film also crossed the $400 million mark at the domestic box office to become the only third Hollywood film to do so in 2022.

In India, Avatar: The Way of Water is flying high as it topped the box office for the 3rd weekend in a row. Avatar 2 crossed the 300 crore nett mark in 16 days and added a huge weekend over the new-year holidays. The 17-day total is close to 325 crore nett and 390 crore gross.
