Atlee is preparing for his next directorial venture, which will feature Salman Khan in the lead role, along with another superstar from the South. An official announcement will be made soon when everything is finalized on paper. 

In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Atlee spoke about the film for the first time, referring to it as the "PROUDEST" film of our country. He also mentioned that he and Salman are planning a grand announcement shortly to make everything official, along with a possible title reveal.

"A6 is something that consumes a lot of time and energy. We have almost finished the script and are currently in the preparation stage. Soon, a fantastic announcement will occur, with God's blessing," Atlee said during the same interview.

Confirming Salman's involvement, he added, "Definitely, I am going to surprise everyone with the casting. What you are thinking is true, yes. But you will be genuinely surprised. And I am not being pompous; it's going to be the proudest film of our country. We want a lot of blessings, so pray for us. The casting is on the edge and will happen in a few weeks. We will have the BEST BEST BEST announcement coming soon for all of you."

The announcement is likely to take place after Christmas and Salman's birthday, as the superstar has already planned the teaser launch of  Sikandaron December 27, 2024. Atlee 6 will probably be announced on New Year's or after the release of Sikandar.
