Asha Bhosle's Son Passes Away

Veteran singer Asha Bhosle's son Hemant Bhosle lost his battle with cancer and passed away on Monday. He was 66.

Hemant was a known music composer and was in Scotland during his final days. Asha Bhosle, who was in Singapore when she received the sad news, will be heading to Scotland for his last rites.

The songstress was planning to return to India to celebrate her elder sister Lata Mangeshkar's birthday on Monday however, the party was called off after they received the tragic news.

Asha Bhosle's daughter Varsha committed suicide in 2012. We at MovieTalkies offer our condolences to the family.
