Attack: Part 1 made approx 15 crore nett in the first weekend, and the weekday total has gone to a lower level. Producer and actor John Abraham has shared his thoughts after the film's box office failure, but rather than the box office, he seems proud of the product which has tried to bring something new. John Abraham wrote, "Whatever appreciation we have received for the film, a big thank you to the audience for accepting something that's new and different. Attack was our honest, humble experiment on our part to give the industries something refreshing and new."
