Arjun Kapoor's 'Okkadu' Remake Is Titled 'Tevar'

We had earlier reported that Arjun Kapoor will be seen in the remake of Telugu film Okkadu, which will be produced by his father Boney Kapoor and the film has now been titled Tevar.

Boney wanted the title Tevar however, he later came to know that it was with Yash Raj Films. When Arjun told Aditya Chopra that they were keen to name their film Tevar, the YRF scion immediately gave it to them.

Arjun will play a Kabaddi champion in the film, which will see him opposite Sonakshi Sinha. Tevar will mark Amit Sharma's directorial debut and will go on floors in January 2014.
