Arjun Kapoor Persuades Boney Kapoor To Play Ranbir Kapoor's Father In Luv Ranjan's Next

It seems that the the acting bug has finally bitten producer Boney Kapoor. After a cameo appearance in his brother Anil Kapoor's mockumentary AK vs AK, Boney is all set to play Ranbir Kapoor's father in Luv Ranjan' next.

Boney Kapoor revealed that the makers wanted the character of Ranbir's father to be 'somebody like Boney Kapoor' in the movie and thus, approached him. However, he turned it down. When Luv saw Boney Kapoor in AK vs Ak he reached out to Boney Kapoor's son Arjun Kapoor, who finally persuaded him to give his nod.

The yet-untitled movie also stars Shraddha Kapoor, and Boney Kapoor will join the lead couple in New Delhi this week for the film's shoot.
