Yet another Bollywood film gets postponed owing to the coronavirus pandemic scare. Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra starrer 'Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar', which was all set to release on March 20, 2020, after a year delay, again got postponed due to the global COVID-19 outbreak. Today Yash Raj Films, the producer of the film, took to Twitter and made the announcement. YRF tweeted, "Given the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak in the country, we have decided to postpone the release of Dibakar Banerjee’s Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar. The health and safety of everyone is of utmost importance at this time."

Arjun Kapoor on Instagram shared the news with fans with a post that reads,

Meanwhile several big budget Bollywood and Hollywood films releases have been postponed owing to the global coronavirus pandemic. Producers of some of the biggest releases of the year, like Akshay Kumar starrer Sooryavanshi and Ranveer Singh starrer 83 has also postponed the releases of their films.
The scare of the epidemic has also led to delay in shoot of several Bollywood big budget films, like Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chhillar starrer Prithviraj, Karan Johar's multi-starrer Takht, Salman Khan and Disha Patani starrer Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Shahid Kapoor starrer 'Jersey' and many others.
Owing to the rise in spread of the deadly COVID-19 in our country, which has now been found infecting bodies of around 84 people nation wide, the Government of India has taken strict precautions by restricting public gathering at public, social and work places. Several Bollywood award shows and events have been cancelled, and many Bollywood stars have also cancelled their international events and travel plans for the same. Theaters, shopping malls, gyms, club houses in several states across the country have also been asked to shut down. Meanwhile, the second death in India took place last night, of a 69-year lady in Delhi due to Coronavirus.
