Apoorva Lakhia Rubbishes Rumours Of Sanjay Dutt Requesting Him To Postpone ‘Haseena Parkar’

A couple of days ago, there had been reports that Sanjay Dutt, who is making his comeback to Bollywood with Bhoomi, had called up Apoorva Lakhia, asking him to postpone the release of his upcoming gangster drama Haseena Parkar in order to avoid a clash with Bhoomi on September 22.

However Lakhia rubbished the rumours and said, “Why would Sanju be threatened by my film? Bhoomi is different from my film. And my film stars a female actor. They are completely different entities. I received no call from Sanju regarding my film. I wish both the films will do well.” Directed by Omung Kumar, Bhoomi is a revenge drama revolving around a father-daughter relationship.

Swiss Entertainment presents Apoorva Lakhia's Haseena Parkar, co-produced by Sameer Antulay & Babu Tyagi and produced by Nahid Khan starring Shraddha Kapoor, Siddhanth Kapoor and Ankur Bhatia is set to release on 22nd September 2017.
