Anurag Kashyap was among the 49 celebrities, who wrote an open letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi by expressing their concerns over the growing case of mob lynching in our country.
Post this incident the filmmaker received death threat from a Twitter user who wrote, that he had recently cleaned his rifle, shotgun and is currently waiting to see the director in person. Anurag took quick action on this serious matter by tagging Mumbai Police’s official Twitter handle on that comment, to alert them about the same.
