Animal has set the box office on fire in the first week. After a huge opening weekend, the film saw a terrific trend on the weekdays. The film scored the biggest first-week numbers for a film without a single holiday or partial holiday on weekdays, except Sunday.
On Thursday, Animal collected 22.50 crore nett in Hindi markets, taking its total to 289 crore nett. This is the biggest first week total for any Bollywood movie in clash as well as for a film without a single holiday on weekdays. Now, the film is looking to shatter more records in the second weekend.Previously, Gadar 2 had the highest first-week numbers with 280 crore nett in Clash, and the film had a national holiday on Tuesday. Talking about A-rated films, Animal has become the highest grossing movie ever in the first week itself, beating Kabir Singh (276 crore nett)—another Sandeep Reddy Vanga film.
