Sandeep Reddy Vanga's crime action drama has beaten all the records for any Bollywood movie that had a healthy clash at the box office (excluding small films).publive-imageAnimal's collection in Hindi markets is set to cross 50-51 crore nett and 62 crore gross marks. These are early estimates and could go a little higher too. The film is off to a bumper start in the Telugu and Tamil versions, as the collections are set to add 11-12 crore nett to its all-India total.publive-imageAnimal will comfortably cross the 60 crore nett mark at the domestic box office, including all languages. It remains to be seen if it can touch the 65+70 crore nett if the night shows push it a little, which is difficult due to its runtime and limited shows.publive-imageRanbir Kapoor's previous biggest opener was Sanju (2018), with 34 crore nett on day 1, and Animal is almost close to its double in all-India figures. Animal is also Ranbir's biggest opener in overseas markets, with gross numbers coming in the range of $4 million or more. This makes it a huge opening day at the worldwide box office. The global total of the film for day one is likely to fall in the range of 105-110 crore in the worst case from here on.
