Anil Kapoor Confesses To Cooking Up Rumours About Madhuri Dixit Link-Up

In the movie Tezaab, Anil Kapoor's character Mahesh tells everyone in college that Mohini (Madhuri Dixit) is having an affair with him, leading to a friction between the two. However, it seems that Bollywood's favourite tapori might have done this in real life too!

In a recent interview, when Anil Kapoor was asked to comment on rumours about his link up with Madhuri Dixit during their heydays when they starred opposite each other, Kapoor was quoted to have said laughingly, “Woh toh maine khud dale the! I had spread those rumours myself to bring some spice in my otherwise boring life!”

In the 1980-90s, Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit starred opposite each other in many films, that went on to become blockbuster hits like Tezaab, Ram Lakhan, Beta, Jamai Raja and Kishan Kanhaiya to name a few. We wonder if Ms. Dixit-Nene will be amused now to know of Kapoor's jhakaas tactics…
