'Amma Has Come To Take Me' Were Dying Irrfan Khan's Last Words

Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan, who was diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumour in 2018, breathed his last at Mumbai's Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, today.

The actor was admitted to the hospital yesterday due to a colon infection. Irrfan's mother Saeeda Begum had passed away a few days ago and as he struggled for life, the actor remembered his mother.

Reportedly, "Amma has come to take me, look she is sitting by my side' were his last words to wife Sutapa Sikdar, who broke down as she saw her husband's health deteriorating. Irrfan's mother had passed away in Jaipur recently and the actor couldn't attend her funeral due to his frail health and saw her funeral through a video call.

Irrfan was laid to rest at the Versova Kabristan on Wednesday afternoon in the presence of his close friends and family members.
