Singer-composer Wajid Khan of Sajid-Wajid fame passed away last night as he succumbed to COVID-19. He was suffering from kidney ailments and his condition worsened as he contracted coronavirus.
The 42-year-old singer was on ventilator support at Surana Hospital, Chembur, where he breathed his last. The singer had undergone kidney transplant a few months ago and was rather vulnerable. He had a kidney infection and was also tested positive for coronavirus.
Bollywood buffs and music lovers are shocked at his untimely demise and many Bollywood celebs also took to Twitter to mourn his death and offer their condolences.
