Veteran Kannada filmmaker S. Ramanathan passed away on Wednesday, at the age of 83 and Amitabh Bachchan who had worked with him, in the beginning of his career, took to his Facebook page to pay tribute to him.
"S Ramanathan, director and producer of many of my films, friend .. passes away this afternoon .. No words to express grief ..!! Ramanathan ji ... a kind and righteous soul, god fearing and dedicated to his work - from Bombay to Goa to Zamaanat .. prayers!," he posted.
Ramanthan is survived by his two daughters and son Sudhish.
