Megastar Amitabh Bachchan on his latest blog post mentioned, how his body is sending him signals to retire, post his long journey in films. Big B on the post also wrote about his latest travel to Manali; and how he was impressed by the simplicity of small town and hospitality by the locals during his stay.
Amitabh Bachchan recently suffered from health illness and was admitted to the hospital for three days. Due to which the superstar couldn’t attend the recently held film festival(KIFF) in Kolkata.
The 77-year-old actor recently travelled to Manali in car, to join Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt for shooting Ayan Mukherji’s fanstasy drama, Brahmastra. Revealing about his trip, Bachchan on his blog he wrote,
“Tranquil .. essence of the freshness .. the winter feel, the purity hopefully of the air .. and a rest after 5am to now .. there is great humility and joy of felicitations en route .. the simplicity of the smaller town reigns supreme .. as does the generous hospitality .. we can never match their honesty and simplicity.”
Big B further wrote about how his body has been sending signals to retire, which he experienced post his long car ride. He wrote,
“another new environ and another readjustment to room and its accouterments. I must retire.. the head is thinking something else and the fingers another . . its a message.”
The actor recently completed 50 years in the business, who still is one of the most busiest actors in Bollywood today. Amitabh Bachchan recently completed the shooting of Kaun Banega Crorepati, after which now he is shooting for Brahmastra. Post this Big B has a busy year ahead with films like Jhund, Uyarndha, Butterfly (Kannada), AB Aani CD (Marathi), Chehre and Gulabo Sitabo.
