Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh are playing the lead roles in Karan Johar’s upcoming directorial Takht and the actors recently met the filmmaker to discuss the multi-starrer.
The duo was spotted at KJo’s office in Mumbai and Alia also posted a story, which shows her holding a red coffee mug, that has Takht inscribed on it. One can also see Karan engrossed in a serious chat in the backdrop. Fans are guessing that he is talking with Ranveer, whose face is hidden by Alia’s mug.
Ranveer is playing the role of Shah Jahan’s elder son Dara Shikoh in the movie and Alia is playing Dilras Banu Begum, the first wife and chief consort of Aurangzeb. Vicky Kaushal is playing Aurangzeb and Kareena Kapoor is playing the role of his sister Jahanara Begum.
The historical drama is expected to release in December 2020.
