Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor will be seen together for the very first time in Karan Johar's upcoming production venture Brahmastra. The film was supposed to release on December 4 but it has now got pushed again due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Reportedly, the film still has 26 days of shooting left and team Brahmastra is planning to resume shoot from October. The lead actors will work in double shifts to wrap it up by December. However, they would be able to go ahead with this plan only if the situation comes under control by then.

Amitabh Bachchan, who is presently suffering from COVID-19, is also playing a key role in the movie. His is also required to shoot some portions but as the government has restricted people above 65 years of age from working, the makers may face some obstacles.

The film's director Ayan Mukerji has broken down the shoot into two shifts — 9 am to 2 pm and 4 pm to 9 pm and minimal crew members will be used to ensure on-set safety. Ranbir is supposed to shoot a song and we hear that the remaining shoot has more dialogue-based scenes.

The film is now expected to release in June 2021.
