Alia Bhatt's brother Rahul Bhatt calls Kartik Aaryan "PR ka Baap, Dadaji" –

Rahul Bhatt about Kartik Aaryan:

Alia Bhatt's step-brother, Rahul Bhatt, worked with actor Kartik Aaryan on his physical transformation for Kabir Khan's Chandu Champion. During a recent conversation with Hindi Rush, he stated that he didn't get along well with the actor and also commented on his PR and promotional tactics.

Rahul noted that Kartik Aaryan had no foundation in strength training and had to learn boxing, which required a completely different skill set. Additionally, he had to swim, making the entire process quite challenging. According to Rahul, Kartik wasn't an athlete like Tiger Shroff or others, yet he still managed to succeed. Rahul mentioned that at the beginning, Kartik had some doubts about him, and their rapport wasn’t as strong as what he shared with Aamir Khan. He emphasized that in the industry, it's important to build good relationships and trust your coach, as that sense of comfort is essential.

Talking about Kartik's self-promotion, he stated, "He was very respectful, very punctual, a thorough professional again. There are a lot of things I’ve learned from him, like self-promotion. Baap ka baap hai, dadaji hai, ye sab cheez mein (he aces the PR game). But I can’t do what he can. Only he can do it. That’s what it takes to be a movie star in today’s time. If that’s what it takes, then I’m not fit to be anything. I’m fit to be a pehelwan (bodybuilder) only."
