One of the most celebrated debut of last year, Ishaan Khattar is reported to collaborate with Ali Abbas Zafar for his debut production which will be a romantic saga. The film is yet to get its title. Sources reveal that Ishaan and the director have been discussing the film for a while and things have now fallen into place and is expected to go on the floors by the end of the year.
The debut director loved the script and believes it’s the ideal subject to turn into a producer with. The source also added that being a writer himself, Ali has also been involved throughout the scripting process of the film which will be directed by one his assistant directors, who will debut as a director with the project. The film is reportedly be set in Mumbai and will entirely be shot in the city.
Ishan was recently reported to walk out of Bharadwaj’s film due to creative differences but the actor is surely up for some interesting projects which includes Mira Nair’s on-screen adaptation of Vikram Seth’s A Suitable Boy. The actor won the audience’s heart last year with Majid Majidi’s Beyond The Clouds, following with Dhadak, Karan Johar’s Hindi remake of Nagraj Manjule’s Marathi film, Sairat.
