Actor Akshaye Khanna, who will be next seen playing the role of a common man in his upcoming film Gali Gali Chor Hai is quite a miffed man, nowadays. Sources claim that the talented actor, who has worked with top-notch directors like Farhan Akhtar and Abbas-Mustan in the past for Dil Chahta Hai and Race is openly expressing his displeasure at the aforementioned directors for ignoring him with regards to new projects.

The Himalayputra actor was quoted to have said, "When any filmmaker I have worked with, doesn't cast me again, I do get angry." However, when asked why has he not been cast by the directors, Khanna was said to have retorted, "That's something you should ask Farhan and the others instead of me."

However, Khanna later admitted his fondness for the director duo Abbas-Mustan, known for making racy thrillers. "Abbas-Mustan are my favourite directors because I have done more films with them. I do terribly miss being involved in the Race sequel."

Incidentally, Akshaye Khanna's portrayal of the sensitive painted Sid in 'coming of age' movie Dil Chahta Hai had won him rave reviews.
