Danish recounted how the scene was originally choreographed by Vijay Ganguly. But mid-shoot, Akshaye asked the film’s director — Aditya Dhar — whether he could just dance “whatever you feel like doing.” When the dance began, no one expected what followed — the actor joined the rhythm, improvised his own moves while looking at the surrounding dancers, and delivered a performance that left the entire crew stunned. “There’s no choreography for him,” Danish said. “He did it all on his own.”

Behind-the-scenes details add another layer to the moment’s intensity. The shoot took place in Ladakh — a high-altitude location where the oxygen levels are thin. According to Vijay Ganguly, Akshaye even carried a small oxygen cylinder due to the strenuous conditions during the shoot. Despite that, he delivered — spontaneously — a dance performance that would soon blow up on social media.

The result: what began as a routine entry scene turned into one of the most talked-about viral dance moments of the year. FA9LA’s track by Gulf-based rapper Flipperachi provided the perfect backdrop, but it was Akshaye’s unplanned spontaneity that ultimately stole the show.
