Akshay Kumar's much-awaited sequel, OMG 2, has set a box office clash with Sunny Deol's Gadar 2. Oh My God 2 was earlier scheduled to be released in Summer 2023, which did not happen. So now, it will be released on August 11, 2023, up against Gadar 2.
The lead actor, Akshay Kumar, announced the new release date of Oh My God 2 with a new poster. The poster sees Akshay Kumar in blue vibes, indicating a Lord Shiva reference. He wrote, "आ रहे हैं हम, आइयेगा आप भी. 11th August. In theatres. #OMG2"
There have been talks about OMG 2 releasing on OTT, but now all the rumours are buried. Gadar 2 is all set for the Independence Day 2023 weekend release, while Vivek Agnihotri's The Vaccine War is shifted. Ranbir Kapoor's Animal is supposedly postponed too, but there is no official confirmation on it yet, so a three-way clash is on.
