Akshay Kumar Wanted To Join The Indian Army Before Becoming An Actor

Akshay Kumar, who has played an Army man in many of his films, revealed recently that before becoming an actor, his dream was to join the army like his father Hari Om Bhatia, who was a soldier in the Indian Army before joining UNICEF as an accountant.

Elaborating on the same, Akshay said that he had been brought up the Army way by his father and that he had this dream to join the armed forces even before he learned martial arts. However, the Khiladi added that God had different plans for him and he ended up being an actor even though he had not thought about such a career in his wildest dreams.

Akshay will be next seen playing an Indian businessman from Kuwait in Airlift.
