Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan’s Mission Mangal has impressed the audiences and the film is all set to enter the prestigious 100 crore club today.
The movie enjoyed an extended weekend as it released on Independence Day. It earned Rs. 29.16 crore on Thursday, Rs. 17.28 crore on Friday, Rs. 23.58 crore on Saturday and Rs, 27.54 crore on Sunday. The total now stands at a whopping 97.56 crore. Mission Mangal has also become Akki’s biggest opener till date. The movie is expected to cross the 100 crore mark today.
Directed by Jagan Shakti, the film is based on India’s Mars Orbiter Mission and it also stars Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha, Sharman Joshi, Kirti Kulhari, Nithya Menon and HR Dattatrey in key roles.
