Playing God is not an easy task and Akshay Kumar, who will be seen playing the role of Lord Krishna in his upcoming film, based on Paresh Rawal's play Kishan v/s Kanhaiya, is about to discover this soon, it seems.
Sources claim that when the actor's mother Aruna Bhatia got to know that her son will be playing the role of Lord Krishna in a movie, she immediately told her Khiladi son to turn vegetarian till he finishes the shooting of the movie and a good son that he is, Akki agreed to stay away from butter chicken or whatever other non-vegetarian dishes the actor likes to gorge on. A unit hand was quoted to have said, "His mother is a devout follower of Lord Krishna and she feels that he should follow the principles taught by the Lord, including a vegetarian diet."
Akshay Kumar will be next seen playing a double role in the Prabhu Deva directed Rowdy Rathore, where he will be paired opposite Sonakshi Sinha.
