Akshay Kumar To Sport Tattoos Inspired By Bandra Residents In 'Brothers'

Akshay Kumar will be next seen playing a physics teacher with a violent past in upcoming Dharma flick Brothers and the actor will be seen sporting various tattoos on his body in the film.

Talking about the inked art that Akki will have on his lean physique, producer Karan Johar said that as Akshay plays a Catholic in the film, the team of Brothers roamed the bylanes of Bandra and photographed the tattoos of the locals in the area, which were then studied and used as inspiration while designing Kumar's tattoos. The Khiladi also graciously agreed to cover his personal tattoos (the names of his wife and kids) as they did not go with the character.

 Incidentally, Akshay had played a physics professor in his last film Gabbar Is Back too.
