Akshay Kumar's Sky Force Not Postponed
Akshay Kumar's Sky Force, which was earlier scheduled to be released in 2024, was postponed to January 2025. The makers made it official and also announced the new release date a few days ago. The film is set to be released on the Republic Day weekend in 2025.
A media report this morning stated that the film is postponed to May 2025, making it a summer release. But is it true? Well, at the moment, no, it is not true. We have confirmed with our sources, and they stated that the film is indeed coming on 24th January 2025.
The post-production of the film is currently in full swing, and the makers are gearing up for a promotional campaign in two weeks. The trailer for Sky Force is planned for Christmas and will be attached to Varun Dhawan's Baby John. Hopefully, there will be no delays in that.
Sky Force was wrapped in July 2024, and the team has been tirelessly working on post-production. The VFX took more time than expected, and that's why the film was moved to January 2025. After wrapping, director Sandeep Kewlani had spoken to Movie Talkies about Sky Force. Sharing his joy of working with this wonderful team, he said, "This was the best dream team a debutant could ask for! Thanks to the universe for blessing me with such passionate and talented technicians."
