Sources close to development have denied the news for now concerning the new director's entry for the hyped sequel.

A few hours ago, a report on the Bollywood portal Pinkvilla broke the news that SLB is teaming up with sound director Prem for the much-awaited sequel. A source close to the director confirmed the update to the portal. However, sources related to the production house have now denied it.

A source close to the development confirmed that Rowdy Rathore 2 will happen, and on a big scale too, but nothing of the sort is happening now or anytime soon. "Rowdy Rathore 2 news is exciting enough to circulate in the media, but no such development has occurred at the production house's end. There are many names who want to be associated with the mega project, which is touted to be one of the biggest films of all time, but unfortunately, no such development is in progress so far," said the source.

It may be possible that things aren't locked yet, or perhaps they are locked, but they want to wait until everything is officially signed and sealed. Fans may have to wait longer for this.
