Akshay Kumar Researched City Rowdies For 'Rowdy Rathore'

We have all heard of actors interacting with police officers to study their body language and their mannerisms before going on to play the role of a cop in a film. However, our very own Khiladi seemed to cross over to the other side of the law while preparing for his role in upcoming action drama Rowdy Rathore.

Sources claim that Kumar personally visited the bylanes of Mohammad Ali Road and Pydhonie to observe the 'rowdies' on their turf so as to study the way they dress and behave. Moreover, the clothes that Akki has worn in the movie have been specially designed keeping the rougher elements of such localities in mind.

Starring Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha, Rowdy Rathore marks the action comeback of Kumar after a hiatus of seven years and the Prabhu Deva directed movie is slated to release on June 1, 2012.
