The trailer launch for Akshay Kumar's upcoming movie OMG 2 has been postponed amidst the sudden demise of Art and Production designer Nitin Chandrakant Desai. The OMG 2 trailer was planned for today by noon, but when Akshay Kumar and his team learned about Nitin Desai's demise, they decided to postpone it for tomorrow. The OMG 2 trailer will be out tomorrow morning at 11 am.
Unbelievably sad to know about the demise of Nitin Desai. He was a stalwart in production design and such a big part of our cinema fraternity. He worked on so many of my films… this is a huge loss. Out of respect, we are not releasing the OMG 2 trailer today. Will launch it…
Akshay Kumar took to his Twitter handle to announce the news. He wrote, "Unbelievably sad to know about the demise of Nitin Desai. He was a stalwart in production design and such a big part of our cinema fraternity."
