Akshay Kumar Once Again Bags 'Highest Tax Payer' Title

It's time for season's greetings, gifts, parties, resolutions and also to file your taxes. Bollywood brigade has already paid their advance tax in the third quarter of the financial year 2012 and like last year this year too, Akshay Kumar has topped the tax payers list.

Akshay, who gave three releases this year Patiala House, Thank You and Desi Boyz, paid a whopping sum of Rs. 6 crore as advance tax. Rockstar Ranbir Kapoor shelled out Rs. 2.6 crore, while Shahenshah of Bollywood Amitabh Bachchan paid Rs 2.5 crore. The details of Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan's advance tax payment have not been disclosed yet, however buzz has it they are amongst the top tax payers from the industry. Mr. Perfectionist who is one of the highest paid actors, paid Rs 1 crore.

Katrina Kaif, who gave two super hits, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, topped the female list of tax-payers by shelling out Rs 3 crore as advance tax. Kareena Kapoor, who is presently shooting for Madhur Bhandarkar's Heroine, paid an advance tax of Rs 2 crore, the same as last year.
