Akshay Kumar to launch Mohanlal's Barroz Trailer:

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar will be launching the trailer of Mohanlal's upcoming movie, Barroz, in Mumbai tomorrow. The trailer event will take place at a grand multiplex tomorrow, Wednesday, December 11, 2024, in the presence of two superstars and the media.

This is sort of like a Manichitrathazhu x Bhool Bhulaiyaa crossover. Mohanlal's Malayalam masterpiece was remade in Bollywood by Priyadarshan, and Akshay Kumar played the lead role in the film. The same film has become a franchise now with Kartik Aaryan and Anees Bazmee.

Barroz is a Malayalam-language children's fantasy film directed by Mohanlal that marks his directorial debut. The film is written by Jijo Punnoose based on his novel Barroz: Guardian of D'Gama's Treasure and produced by Antony Perumbavoor of Aashirvad Cinemas. The film stars Mohanlal in the titular role, with Maya, Cesar Lorente Raton, Kallirroi Tziafeta, Tuhin Menon, and Guru Somasundaram sporting other main roles.

The Barroz trailer launch event will be attended by the chief guest, Akshay Kumar, the leading actor and director, Mohanlal; Bollywood singer, Shaan; cinematographer, Santosh Sivan; and music director, Lydian Nadhaswaram. Barroz will be distributed by Pen Studios in the Hindi markets and is scheduled to be theatrically released on December 25, 2024, up against Kalees' Baby John.
