Akshay KumarAkshay Kumar has always been one of the busiest and most bankable superstars in Bollywood. Just before the pandemic, he was delivering one hit after another and was also providing perfect films for audiences in different genres. However, after the pandemic, his choices of films and roles have brought his box office numbers drastically down.

In his last 10 movies (theatrical), 7 films turned out to be disasters. Four of them were big-budget films, while other three were mid-budget flicks that lacked something somewhere. His last release, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, was a hot favourite amongst his fans since the Khiladi Kumar was coming back to his most favourite zone, "action." But the OG action star's film failed badly, despite its fairly wide release, Eid holidays, and big cast.publive-imageWith BMCM turning out to be a disaster, Akshay Kumar needs a strong comeback more than anybody else because he has many films lined up already. Usually, any superstar would take time and go on a break to discuss and examine what went wrong with previous films, but in Akshay's case, the picture is completely opposite.

Akshay Kumar already has 7-8 films in his kitty, and some of them have even completed the shooting, while others are either kicked off or going to be kicked off soon. Talking about 2024 releases, Akshay has Sarfira, Sky Force, and Welcome 3 coming to cinemas.Akshay KumarSarfira isn't a tentpole entertainer but has solid content. Sky Force will be a new genre and a new director for Akshay, but it will be hurt by the Hollywood release Joker 2, which has already created a huge buzz. The third one, Welcome 3, seems like Akki's best chance for a comeback, if you ask me. It's a tentpole comedy with franchise value and a huge ensemble cast, and it's coming during an extended holiday period like Christmas. Clash with Aamir Khan's Sitaare Zameen Par, which is comparatively a smaller film in terms of budget and scale, wouldn't hurt it much.

So let's see how these three films go at the box office before Akshay can go ahead with his next releases in 2025. Akshay KumarHere's looking at the verdicts of the last 10 movies of Akshay Kumar (theatrical):
