Akshay Kumar Is A 'Proud Papa' As Son Aarav Gets Black Belt In Japanese Martial Art Kudo

Martial artist-turned-actor Akshay Kumar, who has always encouraged youngsters to seek training in self defence and martial arts, is on cloud nine nowadays. The reason- Akki's son Aarav, who has been learning martial arts since a young age, got his first black belt in Kudo, a Japanese martial art.

Overjoyed at this development, Akki took to Twitter to share a pic of his son in his martial art garb and wrote, ''Its a #SonDay all d way!After 9 yrs of training my son got his 1st degree black belt in Kudo #proudfather #overjoyed.'' On her part, mum Twinkle Khanna gushed, ''The biggest Mother's Day gift! Just got the news from his camp-All the years of nagging have paid off:).''

Akshay has been a big supporter of self defence training and has also urged schools to impart compulsory training in self defence to students.
