Sankaran's work.  Kesari Chapter 2, a spiritual successor to the 2019 hit Kesari, focuses on the lesser-known but powerful story of Nair, portrayed by Akshay.

The film traces his bold opposition to British atrocities, especially his legal and political battle after the Jallianwala Bagh tragedy in 1919. Nair’s actions, which once shook the foundations of colonial arrogance, are brought vividly to life in the film. The film received praise for its.solid formation of an untold tale when released in cinemas in April 2025. Now, the film is breaking records on OTT and the article has came right after that.
