Akshay Kumar: 'Brothers is much better than Warrior'

The trailer of Karan Johar's upcoming film Brothers, which is an official remake of Hollywood film Warrior, was unveiled today and the lead actor of the movie, Akshay Kumar says that the film is 'much better' than the original.

At the trailer launch, when Akki was asked if he has seen Warrior, he replied, ''Yes I have seen the original and Brothers is much better than Warrior.''

When asked what kind of preparations did he do to get into the skin of his character, Kumar, who plays a mixed martial artist in the movie, said, ''My work was not to do research on my look, my job was to research on martial arts. To research on my look was my director's work, so he only did it.''

To Akshay's reply, director Karan Malhotra, added, ''I didn't do any research as such, we kept including things as and when they came to our minds. Akshay sir is looking lovely the way he is. He lost 17 kilos for his part and I think that helped him look tougher and stronger.''

Brothers also stars Sidharth Malhotra, Jacqueline Fernandez and Jackie Shroff alongside Kumar.
