Akshay Kumar Is Not A Part of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, Confirms Director Anees Bazmee

Akshay Kumar played the lead role in Priyadarshan's Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007). The film was a superhit, but the sequel went ahead with a different team. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 saw Kartik Aaryan replacing Akshay, Anees Bazmee replacing Priyadarshan, and Tabu replacing Vidya Balan.

Now that Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is bringing Vidya Balan back, fans are expecting Akshay Kumar's return too. But is it happening? Well, the answer is no. The director himself confirmed it to avoid baseless rumours and speculations.

"No, Akshay is not a part of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. I am dying to work with him, but unfortunately, I have not been able to script a film where we could work together. In the future, certainly yes," Anees Bazmee confirmed while speaking to Zoom TV.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 stars Kartik Aaryan and Vidya Balan in the lead roles, and as per sources, Madhuri Dixit is the new addition to the cast. The film is scheduled to be released on Diwali 2024.
