Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Street Dancer 3D is having a steady run at the box-office opposite Kangana Ranaut starrer Panga. But the film has not managed to dominate the roaring run of Ajay Devgn’s Tanhaji : The Unsung Warrior. The film has managed to earn approximately the same numbers at the box-office on its third Monday, as of the latest release of Varun Dhawan’s Street Dancer 3D. Both the films have managed to make an earning of approximately Rs. 4.5 crore at the Box-office on last Monday.
Varun Dhawan’s Street Dancer 3D opened with Rs. 10.26 crore on Friday at the box-office. Over the weekends, on Saturday it saw a hike and earned Rs 13.21 crore, and on Sunday it earned a whopping amount of Rs 17.76 crore. The film saw a drop on Monday, as it earned Rs. 4.65 crore. The film till now, within four days of its release has managed to earn a total of 45.88 crore, to make an impressive opening. The film is expected to cross the 50 crore mark within the first week of its release.
Street Dancer 3D is giving a tough competition to Kangana Ranaut’s Panga, which released on the same day. The film inspite of getting great reviews has only managed to earn Rs. 13 crore in its first four days, with a dull opening. Whereas Street Dancer 3D inspite of getting mixed reviews has managed to do a good business at the box-office.
Meanwhile, Ajay Devgn, Saif Ali Khan and Kajol starrer Tanhaji : The Unsung Warrior has managed to make a total earning of Rs. 228 crore within its first 18 days of release.
