Ajay Devgn's 'Maidaan' Postponed Again; To Clash With Dream Girl 2..?

Ajay Devgn's biographical sports drama Maidaan s reportedly postponed again. The film has had 4 release dates till now, including two in the pandemic, and is now looking to lock in a theatrical release date for 23rd June 2023.

Interestingly, Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday's Dream Girl 2 has already been announced for the same date. This means Maidaan will have to clash with Dream Girl 2 at the box office, and that too on a normal, non-holiday week.

Dream Girl 2 was earlier slated for 29th June release, but preponed by a week to avoid a face-off with Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani's Satyaprem Ki Katha. Suddenly, June has become the busiest month for Bollywood releases in 2023. Jawan, Adipurush, Dream Girl 2, Satyaprem Ki Katha, and now Maidaan.. Not enough ground for the films.
