Hollywood movies have of late, created quite a stir at the Indian box office. Films such as Transformers: The Dark of the Moon, Puss in Boots, Captain America, Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol and the recently released The Avengers are raking in the moolah, giving most Bollywood movies a run for their money.
However, none of this deters the makers of the Ajay Devgn starrer Bol Bachchan take the much awaited Holly flick The Amazing Spiderman head on at the box office.
The makers of Bol Bachchan, including Ajay feel that their film has enough steam to hold its own against the superhero flick.
An actor, closely associated with the film says, "The duo of Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty is a huge franchise in itself that has rolled out back-to-back blockbusters such as the Golmaal series, All the Best and Singham. So, I don't think that they should feel threatened by an English release."
Even though Ajay Devgn's recently released film Tezz did not deliver at the box-office, being pitted against The Avengers, the makers feel that Bol Bachchan is a different story all together and it has the content to go all the way at the box office.
