Ajay Devgn starrer Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior has now been declared tax free in the state of UP. The actor thanked CM Yogi Adityanath for the same. The Chief Minister of the state, Yogi Adityanath from his official Twitter handle informed the same to the public on Tuesday morning. CM in his Tweet mentioned, that the decision has been taken after the actor and co-producer of the film, Ajay Devgn, requested the CM for it. He further added, that making the film tax free, will let people take inspiration from the heroic tale of Chhatrapati Shivaji's commander, Tanaji Malusare's courage.

CM's Tweet reads, "मुख्यमंत्री श्री @myogiadityanath जी ने हिंदी फीचर फिल्म 'तानाजी-द अनसंग वॉरियर' को प्रदेश मेंएस.जी.एस.टी. से मुक्त करने का निर्णय लिया है।

छत्रपति शिवाजी के साहसी सेनापति तानाजी मालुसरे की वीर गाथा से लोग प्रेरणा प्राप्त कर सकें, इस हेतु मुख्यमंत्री जी ने यह निर्णयलिया है।"

मुख्यमंत्री श्री @myogiadityanath जी ने हिंदी फीचर फिल्म 'तानाजी-द अनसंग वॉरियर' को प्रदेश में एस.जी.एस.टी. से मुक्त करने का निर्णय लिया है।

"उत्तर प्रदेश में इस फीचर फ़िल्म को कर -मुक्त करने के संबंध में फिल्म के सह निर्माता एवं सुप्रसिद्ध अभिनेता श्री @ajaydevgn जी नेमुख्यमंत्री जी से अनुरोध किया था। इस फिल्म में श्री अजय देवगन जी द्वारा वीर तानाजी मालुसरे का चरित्र अभिनीत किया गया है।"

Post which, Ajay Devgn took to Twitter and thanked the UP Chief Minister, and requested him to watch the film. The actor wrote,

The film starring Ajay Devgn, Saif Ali Khan, Kajol, Sharad Kelkar in pivotal roles, narrates the epic battle of Sinhagadh, from the pages of history. It also shows the valour of the Marathas in all its glorious pride. The film has been getting good responses from the audience and critics, owing to the commendable performances by the actors and it's spectacular cinematic experience due to its VFX & CGI work.
