The petitioner's statement will be recorded on November 18th November. According to the petitioner, the trailer of Thank God has made fun of religious personalities.

The petition describes Ajay Devgn's portrayal of Chitragupta as defaming. Ajay is seen wearing a suit and has a stylish beard in the film. He uses modern languages and also cracks jokes that aren't suitable for Chitragupta's personality. Such a depiction of Chitragupta is derogatory, said the petitioner.
