Koffee With Karan 8: The next episode of Karan Johar's popular talk show, Koffee With Karan 8, is all set to hit the streaming platform on December 21, 2023. This week, we have two best friends from Bollywood who share a solid professional bond as well. Yes, we are talking about the superhit duo, Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty.

Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty's friendship goes way back, and it all began during Rohit Shetty's AD days, when he would assist Ajay Devgn. Taking a trip down memory lane on Koffee with Karan S8, they shed light on their friendship!

Host Karan Johar said, "Firstly, I have to say, this is the true legacy, right? This is a 33-year-old association and friendship, and 14 years ago, you cast Ajay in your first film." To which Rohit Shetty replied, "20 years ago."Laughingly, Karan Johar added, "Oh God, my math fails me. Oh yeah, you were an AD on Ajay's first film, Phool aur Kaante". Rohit Shetty replied, "Yes, Suhaag Haqeeqat, then all the production films—Pyaar Toh Hona Tha, Raju Chacha, all of them."

"How many films did you assist Ajay in?" asked Karan Johar. Rohit Shetty replied, "More than 10 - 12 films." The friendship continues to go strong even today, as the duo is currently filming for their upcoming flick, Singham Again.
