Fans of the Golmaal franchise can rejoice! After years of anticipation, Golmaal 5 is finally set to go on floors in March 2026. According to a report in Midday, Ajay Devgn will begin shooting for the fifth installment after completing Drishyam 3. The successful director-actor duo, Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn, are all set to reunite for another laughter riot that promises the signature blend of comedy, chaos, and friendship.

Adding to the excitement, Kareena Kapoor Khan will also return to the Golmaal universe. A source told the portal, “Kareena shares great chemistry with Ajay. Since she led Golmaal Returns [2008] and Golmaal 3 [2010], her presence brings a nostalgic charm. The cast will be finalised by December-end.”

The schedule of Golmaal 5 depends on the completion of Drishyam 3. "Director Abhishek Pathak wants to ensure that the storytelling is as taut as the first two parts. The team plans to begin shooting in Goa by December and wrap up by March 2026,” a production insider revealed.

While details about the rest of the cast are still under wraps, fans can expect the return of other Golmaal regulars like Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, and Shreyas Talpade. With Ajay and Rohit back at the helm and Kareena’s comeback, Golmaal 5 looks promising and should deliver unlike the trio's previous outing, Singham Again (2024), which underperformed at the box office.
