After the teaser release on Eid, the makers of Raid 2 are now looking to drop the trailer soon. According to sources, the trailer for Raid 2 will be out next week. The thriller led by Ajay Devgn will see its trailer launch event on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, say sources close to the team.

After Aaj Ki Raat, Tamannaah Bhatia to have an item number in Ajay Devgn's Raid 2 –

As reported earlier, the trailer was initially planned to be released on April 2nd, which also marks Ajay Devgn's birthday. However, it has been pushed until next week. Now, the makers have locked in on April 8, unless there are any last-minute changes or other circumstances.

Raid 2 serves as a sequel to Raid (2018) and follows the return of IRS officer Amay Patnaik, who tracks another white-collar crime. This time, Riteish Deshmukh is in the villain's shoes, as he plays a powerful politician and businessman. In the teaser, we have seen glimpses of both, but the trailer will provide a better idea about the film and its storyline.

Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, Raid 2 stars Ajay Devgn in the lead role, while Vaani Kapoor plays the leading lady. Riteish Deshmukh plays the main villain, while the antagonist from the predecessor, Saurabh Shukla, appears in a special cameo. The film will be released on May 1, 2025.
