Ajah Devgn in Singham Again

Ajay Devgn on Singham Again criticism:

Ajay Devgn played the aggressive cop, Bajirao Singham, in Singham (2011) and Singham Returns (2015). He then played special cameo roles in Simmba (2018) and Sooryavanshi (2021). After that, the character of Bajirao Singham returned with a lead role in the film, Singham Again (2024). However, this film didn't live up to the expectations of audiences and trade.

Many people pointed fingers at the low aggression of the leading character, saying that Bajirao Singham is all about his wild and aggressive nature. He is a lion. But Rohit Shetty made him lose his signature style in Singham Again since the story is set almost 20 years after the last Singham movies. Replying to those remarks, Devgn admitted the mistake and said they would try to keep that aggression in the next movies.

During a recent event at the Zee Real Heroes Awards, the actor said, "I think yeh reaction mujhe kaafi logon se aaya. Toh aage dhyaan rakhenge ki woh jo Singham ka feel tha – ghus ghus ke maarne ka – woh aage zaroor rahega (I think I received this feedback from many people. So, going forward, we will ensure that the aggressive style of Singham will definitely be present in the next movies).
