Ajay Devgn and Keerthy Suresh Wrap Up The Second Schedule Of Maidaan

Ajay Devgn is playing the lead role opposite Keerthy Suresh in upcoming period sports drama, Maidaan and they recently wrapped up the second schedule of the film in Mumbai.

The lead pair shot for the film together in the Maximum City and they also canned an important football sequence, for which a massive set was built in Mukesh Mills. The makers got the VFX team and the sports choreographer from Los Angeles to make sure that the football sequence is of the highest quality. The next schedule of the film will begin from November 3, in Kolkata.

The period drama will tell the audiences about the ‘golden age’ of Indian football i.e from 1952 to 1962 and it marks Keerthy’s debut in Bollywood. Directed by Amit Sharma of Badhaai Ho fame, the movie is being produced by Boney Kapoor, Akash Chawla and Arunava Joy Sengupta.
