Ajay Devgn Gives The Nod To 'Gangaajal' Sequel?

Actor Ajay Devgn gave one of his most intense performances as SP Amit Kumar in the Prakash Jha directed Gangaajal, which was based on the real life blinding incident of Bhagalpur in Bihar and sources now claim that Devgn is gearing up to don the police uniform once again for a sequel to the movie.

Confirming the news, director Prakash Jha was quoted saying, "I will start Gangaajal 2 next year after wrapping up Satyagrah. I have been wanting to take the brand of Gangaajal forward for a long time. Right now, I am busy with Chakravyuh, which will be completed in about 10 days."

It had been earlier reported that Devgn and Jha had a fallout as the former was displeased with the way his role turned out in Raajneeti, which was a modern take on the Mahabharata. However, this latest piece of news surely pours cold water over the fall out theory.

Ajay Devgn, who was last seen playing supercop Bajirao Singham in Rohit Shetty directed cop drama Singham will be next seen alongwith Abhishek Bachchan in Bol Bachchan and also in Son Of Sardaar, where he stars alongside Sanjay Dutt.
