Ajay Boots Anushka, Pairs Up With Kajal!

His on screen chemistry with wifey Kajol in 'Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha' was electrifying. Now Ajay Devgn's hoping that the name proves lucky and his pairing with southern belle Kajal Agarwal in Rohit Shetty's next is just as scintillating. Especially since Kajal is his second choice, after another popular South actress Anushka Shetty was chucked out over money issues.

After the roaring box office success of 'Golmaal 3', director Rohit Shetty and Devgn have joined forces again for the remake of 'Singham', the Tamil superhit starring Suriya. Southern superstar Anushka Shetty was supposed to play Ajay's love interest in the film, but was dropped like a hot potato when she demanded an exorbitant sum.

Her loss seems to be Kajal's gain! Ms. Agarwal is already a big name down South, especially after her stellar performance opposite Ram Charan Tej in the Telugu blockbuster 'Magadheera'. Now she's all set to put her best foot forward in B'Town and she's certainly got her director's vote of confidence.

Rohit Shetty recently told a tabloid, "Kajal is very popular down south. She has done 'Magadheera', one of the biggest Telugu hits of all time. We are confident about her pulling off the role successfully."

We'll have to wait till July to find out if this Ajay Kajal pair can recreate the magic.
